Workshop on the Go! - Twitterpated :)

I sat down today and completed my Twitterpated WOTG, so I could see for myself exactly how much stuff you get in the kit.....boy am I happy!  The kit gives you directions for (1) two page layout and directions for 6 cards (2 each of 3 designs).

Here is my take on the layout:

and here are the three cards, with my spin on them: (this picture was taken in the exact same location, only hours later and I had to use the flash...blech.)

and these were the leftovers: (holy cow were there leftovers!)

so I made these cards on my own: (pictured with still more leftovers!)

So therefore I made (1) two page layout, 14 cards (2 each of 7 designs) and still have 5 sheets of 12x12 B&T duos, tons of scraps, 70% of the brads, 95% of the buttons, 60% of the ribbon, 25% of the dimensional elements (these are a must have add on - so darn cute!), 95% of the hemp and of course the stamp set and instruction booklet will be good for many more projects!  I am Twitterpated!

The Workshop on the Go! gathering is Saturday, September 19th from 1-4.  Email me if you want to come.....the deadline to order your kit is tomorrow, the 9th!  If you are unable to attend, you can still order a kit.....it will have everything you need to complete these on your own!

Mojo Monday - Week 89

Wow, 2 weeks in a row I completed the Mojo Monday sketch on a Monday....woo hoo!  This will be one of the cards for our June card club.

I used: B&T Duos from Life Delights Level 2 Paper Pack, Sweet Leaf Cardstock, White Daisy Cardstock, Sweet Leaf Exclusive Inks, Blush Exclusive Inks, White Daisy brads, D1247 From Me To You Stamp Set and D1361 Thank You Stamp Set.

Mojo Monday - Week 88

Finally, I had time to create a card using the Mojo Monday sketch!  Yea me!  This is also one of the cards that we are going to do at this months card club!

I used:  B&T Duos from Unforgettable Level 2, Sorbet Cardstock, Thank You Stamp Set, Aspiration Stamp Set and Cocoa Ribbon......all from Close to my Heart.

Scrapbooking Weekend (April)

We finally remembered to take a picture or two...actually Marcus remembered! We take up the whole living room and this time Sara got to have her very own table! Marcus took great care of our needs and played games with Sara when she was taking a break from scrapbooking.

Crafty projects :)

Just a couple of crafty projects that I have been working on for a while!  I started the tile a couple of months ago and had put it on the back burner during our living room remodel.  I just started Sara's growth chart a few days ago.  We added to it each day until we were happy with it!

I used Cicely's "Live Within Your Harvest" for a new twist on Live....I hadn't ever heard that until she said that is what she is doing on one of her walls!  Thanks Cic!

I will accept any suggestions as to what to do with the 'blank' top of the chart!  I loved the grass idea at the bottom and think the top needs something, too!

For my "Cricut-ing" family & friends!

So I finally decided to take the plunge and get the SCAL software for my bug!  I am in LOVE!  It is SUPER easy to navigate (if you are familiar with DS) and actually has a few features that in my opinion are better than DS!  Here are a couple of cuts that I made today:

This "PRE-GAME WARM UP" was cut using the 'MisterEarl BT' font.

This "#34 JV Panthers" was cut using the 'Segoe Print' font and the shadow function which is one thing that I think is easier to use in this software!
